Headstones

At Sheenstoneworks we take pride in our ability to create genuinely new designs in headstones. Using a collaboration of old techniques, with motifs and designs drawn mainly from the Celtic ‘LA TENE’ art style, and incorporating our own personal methods and ideas, we create memorials that are original and pleasing to the eye. All of our lettering is hand-carved in a font of the customers choosing. Traditional crosses and designs are also catered for on request.
The client’s input is always welcome on the design or text of their particular piece. All headstones are made to order and all are made in Ireland using Irish limestone. Unfortunately polished Chinese granite has become all too common in our graveyards and clashes with our beautifully weathered old traditional limestone crosses
